Scrabble Day - April 13

Scrabble Day is celebrated on April 13 every year.
In 1931, an amateur artist and unemployed architect named Alfred Mosher Butts created the board game Lexiko, a game that later changed its name to "Criss Cross Words," and later became Scrabble.
The game has become very popular. The game is played by 2-4 players who score points by creating words from letters printed on individual tiles and placing them on the game board marked with a grid of 15x15 squares.
The official reason why April 13 is Scrabble Day is unknown, but it's probably because Alfred Mosher Butts' birth date is April 13, 1899.
